Natural medicines for our heart are two songs, here's what

Music is part of our lives, it can actually reconcile us with the world and sustain us in dark times.

"Music is already used as a relaxing therapy, but this work has reviewed studies on the subject and checked their effectiveness."

"We have provided a better understanding of how the notes of very famous classical pieces and especially certain rhythms can have precise effects on the heart and blood vessels. But more studies are needed that could reduce the skepticism, still prevalent, about the therapeutic role of music".

These were the words spoken by Peter Sleight, the cardiologist who together with other cardiologists from the University of Oxford have developed a particular study presented at the congress of the British Cardiovascular Society in Manchester.
