Benefits of swimming, a sport for many but not for all

Next to running, swimming is considered one of the most typical ancestral activities of human beings. Originating as an activity to get around and survive, in more modern times swimming has also become an object of competition and virtuosity.

Taken as a whole, swimming is an activity that requires the coordinated movement of the limbs in relation to the trunk, and this is where the technical aspects come in. The neuromotor vision cannot be separated from a cardiovascular - respiratory - autonomic system that is able to ensure adequate oxygenation of the body.
